Creative projects for neurodiverse children and young people
About Us
Knots Arts CIC was founded in 2013 by Cassie, Hazel and Bex. Having run drama and youth club sessions in Richmond for a number of years which were in danger of closing, we were pleased to be able to create Knots Arts to continue these sessions and provide an even wider offer of support to neurodiverse children and young people experiencing social communication difficulties.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create inclusive, friendly and fun sessions were children and young people feel safe and supported to develop their communication skills and build friendships. By meeting others who are also neurodiverse or experiencing social communication difficulties, children are able to work together to embrace their differences and overcome any obstacles that they may face.
Who do we support?
Our groups are run specifically to support neurodiverse children and young people with social communication difficulties. We work with a wide variety of children and young people, and embrace the spectrum of talents and interests that our group members bring to Knots Arts.
Since 2013 our groups have grown considerably and we are now supporting over 100 children and young people aged 4 – 25 years old through our regular sessions.
Where do we work?
Knots Arts currently work in Richmond-upon-Thames and Sutton, and run a range of sessions including drama, activity groups and youth clubs for children and young people aged 4 – 25.
