"She loves coming to Knots Arts, it's the highlight of her week!". Parent of  A, age 7, attending Girls Group
Drama Communication sessions - age 4 - 16

Knots Arts drama sessions run in East Sheen and are an exciting place for children aged 4 – 16 years old with social communication difficulties to come and make new friends whilst having fun.

Drama sessions consist of games and activities which are designed to support the development of team working, processing and understanding and speech and language. Each session begins with a sharing of news from our week, followed by drama games appropriate to the ability of the group and culminating in a drama activity such as story-telling, physical theatre or improvisation.

Harry benefits as he finds it hard to join in with groups usually, but these sessions have the right mix of fun and structure which keeps him engaged, enjoying himself and wanting to come back week after week.” – Parent of 8 year old Harry, attending Knots Arts since 2013

The group also go on termly trips to attractions in London and the local area.

“I think that Blake benefits enormously. He certainly has more confidence to deal with social situations, be it talking to strangers or in the school environment. I get the impression that Blake feels very comfortable at the sessions which in turn allows him to be ‘him’.” – Parent of 16 year old attending Youth Club.
